Hey everybody! It’s almost that time. In fact, today is the Eve. I’m planning on updating my shop with new beads during the week between Christmas and New Years Day, so if you’re in the mood to treat yourself, you shall have an opportunity. I’m leaning heavily towards next Thursday evening, but I will update you again early next week with the specifics, and a little sneak peek. I’m kind of excited, I have some new stuff to show you!
In other news, I had tentatively planned to put a tree up this year. My plans were solidified when my sister surprised me with a pepto bismol pink one. She must have ordered it seconds after I told her I wanted one, and at that moment I wasn’t sure such a thing even existed, and then a package was sitting on my porch one evening and I had no clue what it was until I very carefully opened it. It was eventually joined by a strand of pink lights and disco ball ornaments. She knows what I like. So I gathered up all my other xmas stuff, which includes a white tree and a black tree, and put it all in the living room. At some point I asked Sprinkles if he wanted to help me decorate and he was thrilled that I asked. That should have been my first warning sign. So he gets here, surveys the situation, and we eat and watch tv, and I don’t pay attention for like 5 minutes and go into the living room to find the black tree AND the white tree erected and ready for decorating. I attempted to correct him and point out that it was the pink tree that we were going to be decorating. He just smiled hopefully. I couldn’t really come up with a good reason why not, so said “ok, fine” resignedly, and that’s how I ended up with 3 trees. He is very good at tree decorating, and we didn’t even have an argument about it. I’m not sure why I expected that, it’s probably in my genetic memory if you believe in such a thing, but it all turned out ok. He decorated two and ended up having to help me with mine, the lights frustrate me, but luckily we had plenty of everything to decorate all three little trees. And BooBooKitty only bit the tree once.
Enjoy your holidays, whichever way you like to celebrate! Thanks for checking in, see you next week!
